Brad Schoening is an open-source author and has created a format-preserving encryption library, Mysto, which makes privacy-enhancing technology more accessible to businesses and users. Mysto enables software developers to de-identify personal information within their database, in compliance with national encryption standards.

Brad has a B.A. in physics and mathematics from Drew University, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition, he is a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
